Services - Color Correcting

Color correcting refers to faded images.

When an old photo fades, it starts taking on different shades. Generally, black and white images lose their crispness, and start turning brown. Color images usually end up washed-out looking, usually with a red, brown or green tint to the photo.

There are varying levels of fading issues, and restoration will depend on not only the condition of the image, but also on what you hope to achieve with the final outcome. Some people want hand-tinted images. This would require removing all color and then "painting" the image in order to give it its new color. This is not color-correcting.
